At UBT’s Innovative Science Park in Lipjan, the “Shape – Sport, Health and the People” project was presented.
This event was attended by distinguished personalities from public and private institutions, both within and outside Kosovo.
Present at the event were: the President of UBT, Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi; from the European Union Office in Kosovo, Lucia Parducci; from the Italian Embassy, Antonello De Riu; from the Austrian Embassy, Mag. Georg Schnetzer; from the Albanian Embassy, Pranvera Teli Dibra; from the Kosovo Olympic Committee, Ismet Krasniqi; from the Erasmus Office in Kosovo, Mimika Dobroshi; and the Italian professor, Paolo Parisi.
This platform was significant for the exchange of ideas and strengthening of connections between the education sector, governmental institutions, and international cooperation, with the shared goal of improving health and quality of life through sports and other health-related activities.
The “Shape – Sport, Health and the People” project aims to build a university network for sports in the Western Balkans and to develop joint actions in line with the European context and EU recommendations, promoting an active lifestyle and contributing to community life and sustainable development in the region.
To this end, the project aims to train qualified sports professionals in specific sports fields tailored to various needs and to promote personal health, as well as shared values such as inclusion, equality, safety, and environmental awareness.
